Every now and then a piece of equipment comes along that makes you think. How could something so simple be so effective ? Is this just another fad ?

Well the answer is a definite No.

The TRX Suspension Trainer uses leveraged bodyweight exercises to create a complete training system. The system relies purely on your own bodyweight and position in both eccentric (extending) and concentric (contracting) muscle actions to create load during a selected exercise, of which there are hundreds of options, with multiple progressions of intensity.

This is not a fad. It’s here to stay. Simply because it is effective, portable, progressive, fun, challenging – and above all it is cost affective over its lifetime relative to gym membership.

In addition to all this, being a whole body activity, when used correctly, the TRX suspension trainer stimulates core activity, tensioning your waistline and defining your body shape whilst performing a multitude of exercise movements. Reliant of repetition, control and efficient functional muscle action, TRX does not bulk your body but sculpts it into its natural form.

The system was developed out of a program used by the U.S. Navy SEALS and is now used by top athletes and professional sports men and women around the world.  However, the TRX Suspension Trainer is not just for pro athletes – although it is used across all sports – its adaptability and progressive nature means it can be used by all:  to build general strength; to rehabilitate injury; or, by athletes, to target specific movement patterns or muscular weakness.
