Richmond Park Cafes and Refreshment Points
Whilst many visitors enjoy taking a picnic into Richmond park, there are plenty of facilities for those who prefer to visit one of the cafes or grab a quick cup of tea and a snack from a refreshment point The park offers a range of cafes and refreshments points at the places listed below.
Toilets, including some for people with disabilities, are also available. Toilet facilities can be found at Pembroke Lodge (between Richmond and Kingston Gate) and also at Sheen, Richmond and Kingston Gates.
With the selection of food and refreshments available across the park, you can easily plan a full day of activities in Richmond Park.

The cafeteria at Pembroke Lodge serves a wide selection of sandwiches, snacks and cakes.
Located on high ground, with stunning views across the Thames Valley, this magnificent Georgian mansion has been used in a number of ways: as a home by the Countess of Pembroke and the Prime Minister, Lord John Russell and the Dowager Duchess of Dudley ; it was the birthplace of philosopher, Bertrand Russell; and was used as the HQ of an intelligence unit during World War II.
During the 1970s the Lodge was opened up to the public as a government run tea room. It is currently privately owned and is a popular venue for weddings and conferences because of its picturesque location. The cafeteria offers a wide range of refreshments that can be enjoyed sitting in one of the Lodge’s spacious rooms or outside on the veranda overlooking a spectacular vista of the Surrey countryside.

The Cafe serves a range of snacks, drinks and ice creams, indoor and outdoor seating.
The Park’s Refreshment Points serve a wide a range of hot and cold snacks, ice creams and beverages.
Open generally from 9am-6pm during the Summer
Refreshment points are located at:
- Pembroke Lodge: Outside the Main Gate , adjacent to the car park
- Broomfield Hill Car Park: with nearby access to the Isabella Plantation
- Pen Ponds Car Park
